Privacy Policy
Short, because this website collects very little.
What may be collected
Only what you choose to type into the contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide one
- The subject and message you write
- Your preferred way of being contacted
Nothing on this website asks for anything else, and none of these fields except name, email and message is required.
Why it is collected
For two purposes only: to reply to your enquiry, and to continue the conversation about that enquiry. That is the whole of it.
What this website does not do
Stated plainly, because most privacy policies describe things the site does not actually have. This one does not use:
- Analytics or visitor tracking of any kind
- Advertising trackers or advertising networks
- Cookies for tracking or profiling
- A newsletter or mailing list system
- Payment processing
- User accounts or logins
- A comment system
If any of these is added later, this page will be updated before it goes live.
Local storage in your browser
The website does not store anything about you in your browser at present. No cookie is set by this site.
Third parties
Two things are worth knowing.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This is standard for most websites, and it is used to deliver the fonts.
The contact form is delivered to me through a third-party form service. What you submit passes through that service before reaching me, and their own privacy terms apply to that step.
The company hosting this website also keeps ordinary server logs, as all web hosts do.
What happens to your enquiry
Your message is read and answered by me, Joshi Thomas Konikkara.
Your information is not sold. It is not shared with anyone else, not passed to any other business, and not added to a mailing list. It is kept only as long as it is useful for the conversation we are having.
Removing your information
If you would like your enquiry and any related correspondence deleted, ask and it will be done. Reply to any message from me, or send a new enquiry through the contact form saying so.
Anything you send
Please do not include bank details, passwords, identity documents or confidential information about third parties in a contact form or an email. If a discussion needs that kind of detail, there is a better way to handle it and we can arrange one.
Changes to this policy
If how this website works changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
Contact about privacy
Any question about this policy can go through the contact form.
Please note
This is a plain-English description of how a small website handles information. It is not legal advice, and it is not written as a formal legal instrument.
